Born in Cannes, Anne Pivron lived in New Caledonia in her childhood and later in the United States, Japan, and Mexico where she finally settled down for almost 30 years. This French Mexican artist, who played piano at the age of 9, has a PhD in Political Science but her sensitivity urged her to follow her calling: painting. She defines her work as paintings of Hope “Immersed in this century upset by conflicts and shortages, where Nature exhausted by our excesses is struggling to follow us, I turn to the positive energy of colors to paint what is best in us and to find hope in our humanity. Based on Nature, my paintings are intuitive in the sense that I use my spiritual awareness to create them.”
