Self-taught, Antonio Zamariola was born in 1951 in Adria in Italy. It was not until 2005 that he discovered painting and sculpture. His first exhibition, at the Château d’Oupeye, marks the beginning of a journey that includes other exhibitions in Belgium and abroad, such as Milan, Venice, Zürich, Miami and New-York. Recognised Companion of European Artistic Merit in 2015, he was awarded in 2020 the Asylum Award at the Valmontone Festival in Rome. Since 2018, he has been included in the Akoun listing catalog.
