These colors, black / white as the basis of contrast, absence of Manichaeism, red of desire and violence, blue of spirituality and inconstancy, yellow of anger and joy, green of hope and disease… Life is already written, so we might as well do what pleases us - with, in the hollow, the permanent awareness of death to come, and its longed-for antidote, eternal gratitude.”
