Chrystel was a lawyer before becoming a full-time artist (painter, sculptor, and visual artist). A long stay in Asia allowed her to evolve her style with the same guiding principle: surprise and innovation. Upon her return to France, she replaced her brushes with repurposed materials (metal or fabric), which she cut and layered, creating a portrait, a landscape, or a nude with great delicacy and precision. This marked the beginning of her "Resille" collection, somewhere between reality and illusion.
