Born in 1977 in Alsace, Frédéric Haro is a self-taught artist. A welder by training, he developed an innovative technique to create a unique work, somewhere between a painting and a sculpture. In his workshop, raw steel pellets, recovered from metalwork, are modeled one by one to give them the perfect curvature. Meticulously welded, they give life to creations in relief. These “painting-sculptures”, as he calls them, enhance the movement of his subjects who disappear into the frame, which becomes a window open to the imagination.
