Jo Maddaleno found in painting a means of expression that uses a universal pictorial language, then the very present color imposed itself on the form. Very quickly the desire to express something else was born and the abstract became her preferred means of expression. 
She uses acrylics to give free rein to her imagination: dynamic and spontaneous, Jo paints to the rhythm of her joys, her sorrows, her pains, her doubts, and her uncertainties. She then transports us into a world of warm and vibrant colors. Since the first confinement, Jo has discovered a real taste for painting on stainless steel plates. A new aspect of his art that brings a subtle and modern touch to interiors. The simple door becomes a unique work of art.
