Marie-Laure Maze, born in 1967, a software engineer, has been painting since 2010. She lives and works in the Alpes-Maritimes, near Grasse. Her pictorial motifs are graphic and repetitive, sometimes ligneous, sometimes floral. 
 
Her work on materials has recently led her to the use of resin, where she plays with the effects of mat and gloss, depth, and transparency. Her paintings are colorful, joyful, and vibrant. She combines extremes such as control and randomness, precision and spontaneity, abstraction and representational.
