Vadym is a contemporary abstract artist based in Cannes, France. His paintings work on memory, and on the traces memory leaves behind. What time does to what remains, rather than what was there at the start. He builds in layered acrylic, then abrades and partially erases what he has made, so earlier layers stay visible beneath the final surface. Nothing painted over is ever fully gone.
